  1. What type of glue did you use? If you used epoxy or something that wont come apart, as a last resort you could maybe cut the pieces apart on the less visible side, glue in a shim, and bondo over the seam?
  2. Sure ill get some posted. It was on an abs kit for my wife we glued the snaps for her TD shoulder straps directly to the armor. It wasn't till after that I read about the melting, but it didnt do any damage and has stayed on for months now.
  3. I have even glued snaps directly to the armor before and there was no melting.
  4. I love mmorpgs! I played The Realm for a few years. It was a little side scrolling game from Sierra I think. After that I started EQ 1 since day one. Then I got invited to Star Wars galaxies beta 1! It was awesome I got to test the game with all the actual developers. I think there were only about 20 of us beta testing it. I tried out a few in between all those but never got too into any of them. Then I switched to Wow. I played that until the first expansion, then stopped until WotLK came out. Now I still play. It's a lot less time consuming now, so you don't have to play 4 hours a day to make progress.
  5. Can you open it up a little? Make it so the face and back piece overlap isn't as much?
  6. He did an op ivy song with rancid in San Francisco a few years back. Probably the closest thing to a reunion. I wish I could have been there.
  7. With e6000 oh and maybe try some stronger clamps... They will bend the plastic enough so they make contact while they dry. I haven't had any pop off (yet)
  8. I have glued snaps directly to AM armor before without a tab and it didn't melt it at all. I since changed it, but it worked fine for me.

  10. Hey guys. So I just received a shiny new AM kit for my wife's TD armor. I noticed the pieces at the bottom of the back and chest that goes under your arms extends a lot more than other kits I have seen. Do I need to trim these or are they more accurate like this? Thanks!
  11. Got it today. They did a real nice job on it. I added padding and fan system already. But wow this thing is small! I have my ears stretched to 1 1/4" so it tries to rip them off when it take the helmet off!
