  1. The two figures with the visible backpacks are IDENTICAL in every way, weathering, markings, position of the armour, pose etc. The figure on the left has been photoshopped onto the image and is a duplicate of the figure on the right. Kinda odd if its a still from the film......?
  2. There are also 2 'Kyber Crystal' backpacks being worn by the TKs escorting the hovertank prior to it being attacked.......
  3. As can be seen on this close up, the bushing appears to be behind 2 straps:- The outer 'popper' strap and the inner 'pronged clip' strap:- Putting the bushing behind the pronged clip strap (by removing the screw and bushing, threading it thru and refitting the nut etc) will make the clip protrude out from the strap as seen on the CE pack:- Having said all that, I saw the movie tonight and, if you blink you'll miss the two scenes the pack is in !!!
  4. I used the same 'Super Blue' Gun bluing liquid I used for the tri-gate sliders. Soaked them for about 5 mins and it ate away the surface finish real well !
  5. Pack complete, weathering started, need to slightly dirty the canvas roll and straps. Weathering carried out with Woodland Scenic pigments shown below, applied in order shown !
  6. Couldn't get hold of the correct coloured slider buckles, so bought the gold ones. I then soaked them in Liquid Gun Blue and, as you can see, they came out rather well !!!
  7. How about this for the 'canvas roll' http://www.sofmilitary.co.uk/british-canvas-storage-bag-for-officers-tent-60x20-inches-product,17595
  8. Superb work going on in this thread, curious will it be completed in time for people to build the packs for the premier of Rogue One?
  9. Is anyone producing / working on this armour?
  10. Does anyone know if there is someone working on the actual new Stormtrooper armour, or is it a case of individuals converting FX etc?
  11. Cancel that, I have just secured a pack and frame for under £20........... happy days :-D
  12. There will always be the likers and haters of new costumes. This 'new' version of the classic TK armour is probably closer to the way Lucas wanted the TKs to look. Although it is set just prior to ANH, I think the majority of fans would be disappointed if the TKs armour was 'screen accurate' to ANH, after all, a blind man could read the surface of the helmets, they were that rough! I think they rock, and still think the original TKs are far better looking than any Clone or FO armour !
  13. Hi guys, I have 2 sets of TK armour I an starting work on, one for the Battlefront Shock Trooper, and the other as a Magma/Lave Trooper, both sets of armour require the addition of the edge trim and I was wondering if anyone can point me in the correct direction for said trim. I purchased 10m of white rubber trim but that a) won't stick to the armour, even with CA glue, and won't take paint. All assistance greatly received ! ps: I'm in UK but am happy to buy it from further afield !
