  1. Hi Wendy, both myself and my wife Kathy (Ciderqueen) are also 5ft 4in and chose AP armour which we found to be very good quality and relatively easy to build.  It is also comfortable to wear. :)

I have put links to our Expert Infantry threads for you in case you find it useful. :)

  2. Hi,

Looking on Ebay I yet again saw a Seller advertising their armour under the title of '501st Approved'.  This time I decided to challenge the seller to explain how his armour kit could be 501st approved and received no reply (unsurprisingly).   What I found more surprising was the response from Ebay.  They said that the 501st would need to contact them direct in order for any action to be taken.  Any idea how this could be done?

  3. Hi Simon and welcome to FISD.  Don't worry about being 5ft 5in.  Both my wife Kathy (Ciderqueen) and myself are only 5ft 4in and we managed to trim our armour kits fine.  If you haven't already done so don't forget to also register on the UKG.  You find lots of help and advice both there and here mate.  :)

  4. Hi Richard,

Like Morten I also originally had JR armour.  I managed to get it cleared with the UKG after some months of hard work so it can be done.  However, you will need to be realistic as to what the end result will be.  I always felt second class trooping in my JR armour and sold it as soon as I could for my AP kit.  It will be a lot of work but you will get all the help and support you need here and in the UKG. Have you signed up with the UKG site?  The UKG armourers were very supportive in helping me get my JR armour cleared.

Good luck with your build mate. :)  If you need any advice just ask!
