looks like you got all the parts needed the first time around...others were not as fortunate...congrats and have fun w. the kit!

Kev, I'm totally down for whatever you decide... in keeping with RMQ initial vision, whatever we decide it to have been
I will definately get a set, but probably display it on a mannequin. As physically, with a past life as a competitive cyclist, I can not fit into the movie size trooper thighs (they are too long and narrow).
If you can work some sort of harness system like the one for your clonetroopers - that would be great!

run a bead of e6000 along the inside the groove of the trim the whole length of your trim. install. and most important........use a clothespin to clamp it .....and use lots...like the whole bag....use one right next to each other.....
..wait two days and remove......et viola

GF signed the lids and armor he assembled up until 2002 and that famous lawsuit (not AA... the GF lawsuit) ... This was around the time of that first lawsuit during which GF sold/gifted the molds to AP after pulling about 25-30 suits to fufill his remaining outstanding orders. GF offered to assemble these, and signed the chestplate, or offered them as kits.
AP afterwords modified the stunt helmet, and sharpened it up.

Another masterpiece... and a great representation of the helmet

Excellent work, Paul!!

I'll be getting one of TM's hero helmets soon - better than anything EFX may offer, and available in the correct assembly and materials.
-
Krylon Fusion for plastic should key to it very well. Satin Black should be OK

The armor pieces at the top of the page in the picture that Locitus posted are the father of most of the replica suits since the 1990s
until RS and CFO offered theirs recently

Recast, recast FX armor dropshipped straight from a tiny Asian village. good price, hope you actually get it. Good luck with your build.

Last year I modded this bank into a practical helmet. Cut out eyes and teeth, green lens, yellow foam, painted mouth and trap detail lines, cut out bottom and added black trim, then sprayed w/ clearcoat. Ill try to post up pics later today

WOW your best one yet!

Love the high brow, Paul! Guys, why wait around for EFX to maybe never make one, and in fiberglass (poo poo) Get one from Paul now
-
Looking great, Guys! Can't wait to start on my 2 helmets and full suit...I'll post up in-progress pics

Welcome, Lee. You have one of the BABTY guns?

Don't 'over-weather' less is more,

Do you have their HDPE helmet?
-
Thanks for posting some awesome and fresh photos!

I'm in the same boat - had a helmet for a year, and just started to build it - the ears are really thin... JoeR has a picture of the actual molds used, and also a picture of attaching bolts to the ears as opposed to gluing them on... they are here on the forum somewhere...

I'm in for 2!!!

Not if you put a real low wattage bulb in there, or one of the new flourescents. also you could cut out the traps and tears and mesh them like the Disney helmets.
-
Nice score! The helmet is really close to what the troopers looked like in the Droids cartoon series in the 80's, and a helmet I always wanted to replicate. Just put a mirrored lense in it, and offer it as another helmet?

You could also use bicycle spokes. 16 is a fairly thin spoke gauge
and bends easily enough for this application. They are stainless steel, as well.

The GG shoulder bells look like Rector skateboard knee pad replacement cups from the 80s with that bulge, and the GG chest plate looks like it has bodybuilders slave Leia tits...and the shoulder straps.... I agree they arent great... other details are good...Looking.forward to the armor... Kev, any ideas on the helmet construction? vac abs or resin cast/face off mod?
