[Ear Piece Help]

I need major help with my ear pieces (this is my third attempt on trimming the ATA ear pieces)! What is the easiest way to trim them? Which ear piece goes on the left and which one goes on the right? It seems like Ear Piece B is larger than Ear Piece A, why is that? Any good tutorials out there? Thanks!

I like the idea of using screws on the neck tubes instead of rivets. Is the blue painters tape in the correct position so that I can drill my holes for the screws?

Alright, the first 2 rivets are in! Here are the pictures! What are your thoughts? The blue painters tape is where I plan to put in the other 2 pop rivets. Will I have to worry about the bottom screw of the ear piece?

Sounds good! With the pop rivet, I drill the hole, put the rivet in, put a washer on the inside of the helmet around the rivet, and then use the gun..correct?
