Well, if I lengthen the elastic, when worn that would cause the ab plate to stretch down farther, causing the suit to become taller instead of shorter. EDIT: It seems to have worked, but one of the screw holes in the chest is enlarged, so I will need to repair it with ABS paste.

Does anyone know what the name of this metal bracket is? I need to get a longer one to bring the chest lower and ab plate higher, since the upper armor is currently too long on me.
