  1. Some of the blasters made in the US are mouth watering compared to the stuff sold here in the UK and to be honest with our stupid governments of the past and future we hold no hope of having our dreams shattered by our so called intelligent leaders and of course those who know much better my gripe is we are wanting the blasters for trooping but if we buy do we loose our blasters and hard earned cash if we follow our wantings of a top class blaster I`d love to know how the law stands here on imports in the UK but knowing or contacting customs here are near on getting a personel chat with the lord neither one employee to the next really knows they see a gun and its illegal so has any Brit trooper had any trouble inporting a US (made in heaven ) blaster please give me the info im desperate to get or do I have to suffer with great envy of the troopers in the US and other countries who have the right kit ?????????????

You could get a real deactivated Sterling in UK and have the ultimate E-11 blaster, it is like handling the real screen used prop :) - I got my deact. uncut Sterling SMG from UK not long ago and not even the Master Replicas blaster come close to it (I have that too).

  2. This flexible mannequin is really great with all its poseability. But the price for one is about £800 plus vat and postage, which is a lot IMO, no matter how cool it is. The UK mannequin I have is very solid with movable head and arms, and I got it when on sale so I could have bought more than 8 of them for the price of the flexi one. For a Darth Maul or a Spiderman 1:1 I would have thought of getting a more flexible version, but for a Stormtrooper the one I have is perfect.

  3. I managed to unscrew those 2 screws. But nor oil, nor WD-40 penetrated the tight thread. So I used my Bosch drilling machine with a screwdriver connector and unscrewed them. No way these could have been unscrewed by bare hands and a screwdriver, unless Hercules or Superman were around :D No damage to the screws or anything else. :D

  4. The 2 cylinders sets I got from Joerg, the one with dual small capacitors (left) and the one with 3 holes (right). In the one with the 3 holes I added the capacitors I received from Rob after painting them, they are just attached with their wires and no glue or anything else, so if I want to reposition them or take them off, it can be done in 3 seconds. The entire ensemble is connected to the blaster with 2 flat and powerful rare earth magnets (glued to the cylinders and painted black), thus I can exchange between the two options and also change the position of the cylinders if want to:

    LOOKS GREAT-

One question where did you put the wire of the capacitor?

Do you just have them hanging over the edge, or did you drill a hole in the base and tuck the wires in to it?

Thanks. You can see the pic on the left. That is the cylinders set with 3 holes where I added the 3 capacitors from Rob. I only used their own small wires to hold the capacitors to the cylinders - I cut a part of them and the remaining wires I put underneath.

  5. Utterly stunning display, Sergiu!!! The build, the stand, the plaques, the communicator in case! All superb! Love it! :th_AnimatedBravoSmiley: :th_AnimatedBravoSmiley: :th_AnimatedBravoSmiley: :th_AnimatedBravoSmiley: :th_AnimatedBravoSmiley: :th_AnimatedBravoSmiley:

How did you go about making/buying the left-hand plaque?

And would you please email me your highest res copy of this photo so I can enjoy it in all its glory? (I'll PM you my email)

Thank you Andy! The tall plaque was made by Kevin (Panther/Gatorbait) :)
