Yah, that was my first convention as a 501st member and it was definitely a lot of fun (I'm the Tie Pilot in the second row). Good to finally meet a lot of the guys from outside of the Greater Toronto Area - I look forward to seeing that snazzy clone of yours again at FanExpo in the summer!

Cleaning some adhesive off my armor - what to use?

I'll second that - goo gone has worked wonders for me on my helmet. Smells nicer than lighter fluid, too. -
Well that is one sure fire way to identify your armor from the rest of the pile in the changeroom! Rob - I know you said that you are not going to troop with this helmet, but I have screens (made out of flyswatters, of all things) behind my Vader lenses and they really help to disguise my eyes if someone takes a flash photo of me.
