  1. Tim, Take your time and use the "Stukatrooper tutorial"!!!!! it's the best!!!! ---------- hope that helps!
  2. Thanks Paul, That is what I needed!
  3. Thanks for the offer but the mg-42 and 34 have different barrel shrouds...
  4. Thanks for all the comments I really appreciate the support! "Do you have any build pictures" Sorry Luke I don't ...I have a tendency to jump into my builds and forget to document the journey. "do you take orders?" No , but I might be willing to part with this pack, I'm currently working on a more accurate "ANH TD"kit. "two boxes instead of one" Yes I agree, and the pack I'm currently making will have the two seperate boxes. At the time I was thinking of how to build a pack that generally reflected all of the packs. The SE ones apear to be a single box type build and even some game shots show a single box base. Plus it can be used for extra storage! Thanks again for all the pat's on the back! BTW I hope the new owner likes it!
  5. Ok so everything but the boyscout frame and the tupperware lid are made from scratch items! I made it with tooping in mind so it is either bolted or rivited together, She's solid but not to heavy! Allthough not "screen accurate" I did try to include details from all five backpacks seen in (ANH) including the SE version. It can be worn in both a "Standard" or "Marmit" style. This one is nice and clean could be used for a HWT no Sand here Thanks for looking! BTW, I no longer own this pack.
  6. Are there any real MG34 or hyperfirm owners who could help out with this?
  7. OK, so I've decided to convert my Cushmann DLT-19 vac formed "barrel shroud/T track combo" to a two part "inner barrel/barrel shroud'' with real T tracks. My question is what's the diameter of a real MG-34's barrel shroud, the part with all the holes in it I was under the impression it was 1 1/4 inches or possibly 1 1/2 inches but both seem too big? Help Please!
  8. Eye bump looks much better! I did that to mine but, Instead of trimming I used a modeling iron to lessen the bump. Just not a fan of the "winky" trooper look
  9. Brad, I found that the elastic belt that comes with the AP armor is to stretchy for a good solid wrap. Consider replacing it with a duckcloth one thats sized for you. PM member "Gundamzeppelin" . Plus it's screen accurate!
  10. Way to Go Wally! It's efforts like this that make us all shine! Were proud of ya Brother!
  11. Well my local Staples no longer stocks bankers clasps... So I found another source at officeworld.com with really fair shipping! Hope this helps anyone whose looking.
