If everyone here says don't buy rubies, DON'T BUY RUBIES!!. ...................[END OF TRANSMISSION]

Looks great, I love seeing troop pictures with kids who are just having the times of their lives because characters from their favorite movies are right there in the flesh, err, armor. (or maybe i'm just a big kid) .......great job you guys!!
-
Bennett, your armor looks good bro, congrats. The forearms seem a little big to me at the wrist, but maybe thats just the picture. Then again this is coming from the guy who keeps having to put his armor purchase and assembly off, due to my wife and kids spending my paycheck, so take that with a grain of salt. But all in all brother, it looks great and I'm jealous!

Maybe, "TK421 what aren't you at your post?", sounded better than, "Hey.....you, uh, you there, you supposed to be gaurding that ship, why aren't you at your post?" haha!

I have a few left, ones the ex-wife didn't throw out. I'll take pictures when I get home and update. Great thread though!

That thing sold for $600 and had this in the description: ("This is the high quality Legion 501 ready outfit....") That's one expensive halloween costume!! TRICK OR TREAT!

Thanks everyone. everybody is eager to assist and that's cool, if anyone needs assist from me with anything, and your nearby where I live, give me a shout. I'm selling one of my pistols to fund my TK, hate to do it, but an imperial has to have his priorities straight! lol.

I just showed that to a couple of my co-workers, and I'm the only one with tears in my eyes laughing! .......(Trekkies -go figure!)

That job looks like it would be a fun place to work, if only for the StarWars innuendoes! Let me know if they need a comm tech! I hope you get it!!

I'm a noob to the whole trooping thing, getting ready to put a suit together, still in the research/learning phase, but a worry of mine was the belly issue. I'm built with short legs and a long thick upper body(and have an affinity for home brew and home made italian food)..aaand don't really want to have to listen to my son with his... "Aren't you a little fat to be a stormtrooper?" Ha! Thanks for the info..!!!

I'm a noob as well, (35 yr old noob). I'm researching to do a TK build, (poss sandy), been a S.W. fan my entire life, have a ton of collectibles overflowing my house-drives my wife crazy. I can't believe that I haven't joined the 501st yet/ done an armor build yet. Sooo, I'm getting ready to start, research-research and more research. Where do you think a 6' 226 pounder should be looking? Any advice would be greatly appreciated!! Thanks!
