  1. TK 6986, humbly requesting FISD deployment and 501st access. http://www.501st.com/members/displaymemberdetails.php?userID=12180 Thanks.
  2. I have one of his blasters and I think it's quite good. There's certainly room for improvement but I have no complaints. The few times I've trooped with it I always get compliments about it. For about the same money I would go for a hyperfirm blaster though. I just got one for my ESB build and I don't think anything else will beat it for being light and durable as a trooping blaster. Again, it's not perfect movie accurate but I consider it a minor trade off for the durability of it. Shoot me a PM if you need a contact for a hyperfirm blaster.
  3. Great thread; will be very helpful to me. I just paid for my ABS ATA kit and I'm even more excited about building it now. This will be my second lid, the first one looked like a trooper that took a header off the command deck. Thanks for posting this.
  4. Hmmm... L&B... as if I'd need any more motivation to host, lol. We've been doing some remodeling on the house and as part of the basement project I'm hoping to turn the laundry room into a laundry room / armor workshop. If I get that done as planned I might actually have a nice spot for a TK Armorer 101 workshop. I'll keep you guys posted.
  5. Hey Cameron, If your goal is EIB, you should definitely check the EIB specific requirements before doing all that work on the eFX. It's a nice, affordable helmet and I own two myself, but I don't think any amount of modding can make it EIB accepted. I was looking at the EIB requirements last week and I'm pretty sure it states that no MRCE or eFX helmets are accepted. I ended up getting a CAP helmet and I have to say I like it a lot better. The one I got already assembled, painted and ready to troop was only a little more than a new eFX bucket. If you're willing to build it yourself you can even get one for much less.
  6. Sweet, I was hoping you'd be starting your build thread soon. I'm hoping to stay one step behind you as you're building this so I can get my armor upgrade done too. There's bound to be some cool troop opportunities in the fall with the blue ray release so I'd love to have a better TK to wear by then. Man... ATA is gonna get a ton of orders once tax returns start rolling in, lol. Happy building brother; you'll be leading the way for several of your ECG brethren. Maybe we can have an armor building party if we all get them in around the same time, lol.
