Hey Will good to see someone else building a AM kit as well. This is my first build and i find it pretty easy to follow the instructions but have also used this site for referance as well. The AM kit is finished off nicely, it is very sharp and looks pretty smart. I am only half way through my build but am happy with my progress and results. I would recommend this kit to anyone.

Left side of armour is joined with rivets and snaps then added webbing with snaps on the inside to hold it together.
Most of the lower legs glued at the front and rear on thigh pieces and shins glued on the front and industrial velcro on the rear.
Your build looks really good so far. Great job on the left side rivets...

Remove them???? You should be adding more...seriously there is a thread on repair by making ABS paste

Awesome job on the Heavy Trooper, love the pack as well, great details

The AM kit would be good height wise, you will need to do a lot of trimming though as the AM was made more for us bigger troopers....
-
Looking great Terry...glad you learned from my mistakes on the AM armour
-
simple and too the point...looks very military IMO

Thanks everyone for all the help getting to this point...I really really appreciate it..

And tells us what BH your first costume is.
As you can tell I like to be different...my BH is Jaster Mereel from the Jango Fett: Open Seasons comic series...I believe there is only 2 or 3 Jaster's in the Legion..everything about the kit was scratch-built including the helmet...
-
Can you use any of these...
-
fixed the frown.......
-
Good point on the repaint…the frowns were done with acrylic craft paint and then clear coated…will see how it turns out tonight…also, there is no pointy not taking suggestions positively…there is a reason that it’s called “Expert” Infantry Badge….
-
Cool thanks for the reference pic...will make more adjustments tonight...I appreciate everyones help with this...
-
scraped the frown...mike tips came from Cooter Davis on the main forums
-
Control Panel added....
-
No worries. Remember that there are two flavors of EIB TKC - one based on the ROTJ armor and one on ANH-Stunt armor. Since you are doing the action figure variation the base is ANH-Stunt, and you should reference that as a starting point for all details unless otherwise over-ridden by the TKC EIB.
I think that with the Control Panel inplace I will have covered everything for the ANH stunt/TKC action figure EIB...unless I need to put the side rivets on??

The O2 cylinder needs a control panel.
OOPS...will attach the control panel tonight no problem and take a new pic..
QCTrooper.....the armour is AM and the helmet AP
-
The thermal det does not have the control panel as per the action figure, and the lenses are #5 green welding shield.....I can add the control panel and send pics of it tonight
