LOL you can't get more accurate than that!

Here is the pre-order link for amazon:
The Making of Star Wars: The Empire Strikes Back: The Definitive Story Behind the Film (Hardcover)
This title will be released on July 20, 2010 at $53.55
Thanks for the heads up info on the release date and price of the "The Making of Star Wars: The Empire Strikes Back: The Definitive Story Behind the Film" book - hardcover edition. I'm pleased to see that the cover of this much awaited book :
is consistent with the book cover format of J.W. Rinzler's earlier master piece as shown here :

Congratulations to the new FISD Admin Team for 2010.

Now this is interesting. Another one popped up .. must be thanks to the ADIDAS X Star Wars promotion. Haha!
I'm not sure whether Kirby was inspired by our 17 JANUARY 2010 Adidas Star Wars promotion trooping or not. According to Julian Kong the GPR, Kirby was referred to him by the 501st Singapore Garrison members.
-
BTW, you are the second new member in the last week from Jakarta, Indonesia, unfortunately there isn't a garrison in Indonesia.
The closest three 501st groups to Indonesia: Singapore Garrison, Philippine Outpost, and Terror Australis Garrison.
RogueTrooper, you seemed to have overlooked the 501st MALAYSIA-BRUNEI OUTPOST who is in the same geographical South East Asian region as Indonesia. The other unit will be the 501st Thailand Outpost, newly activated in 2009.

Haha, yeah finally a post from me. Most of the time i am reading most posts on FISD. But then i saw someone did an "Intro" post, and i thought "Geewiz! I should have done that here too!"
So that's what pulled you out of your lurking mode eh? Now let's await Jensen Woo's arrival to this forum so that he can ask all the questions he needs.

Mods you can lock and close up this thread.

Hi,
I believe you can change it in your profile:

Òrlendr, thanks for the tips and url link. I've got it done already.

Glad to see the formerly Penang, now Tasmanian based, Otaku-Trooper here at last in FISD!
-
Its about time I retire the existing FISD forum monicker "The Sith OverLord" to the ID that I've been using in the MEPD forums (and in Facebook as well). As such please change my FISD forum ID to Trooper Peter
Thanks!

Hi All
I am 33 from Malaysia!
Just got a MR Helmet, looking for an armour (good price)
thanks
Welcome to FISD, Kirby. You've come to the right place to gain info on where to get the rest of the Stormtrooper armor kit to go with your MR Helmet.
Which part of Malaysia are you from? You can drop me a PM
Looking forward to have you joining our 501st MALAYSIA-BRUNEI OUTPOST team asap!

Hi Nick,
My official welcome to you here in FISD. Glad to know that you've picked up your E-11 and we now look forward to see you becoming a member of the 501st Legion (hopefully before the Ipoh Parade trooping. ;) )
-
PS: was introduced by SithOverloard =)
That's The Sith OverLORD to you young one... and please do come back after your SPM exams are over so that you can get started on your Stormtrooper armor project and become one of us in 2010.
-
talk about warm welcome xD thanks alot all
Welcome to the whitearmor forums, willybudds..
You've arrived at THE Right place to begin your apprenticeship on the fine art of Stormtrooper costuming.
-
O.K. guys, here is the cleaner version of my HW trooper. I would like to know if there are any other mods I need to make. Comments are welcome.
The Three Amigos (Clone Mechanic, H/W Trooper and Sandtrooper)
Well, let me know bothers. I am hoping to get this nailed down for when I am able to try for H/W ID
Thanks
Now that's some improvement in your apperance when we last sway you TK-8290. Now that you've "cleaned up" your act you look pretty close to those HWT pictures that are shown at Screen Caps - post 'em if you got 'em, boys!.
The relatively more weathered part on your front seems to give the impression that you were knocked down face down to the soil and got back up again after that. Having said that, it is much better we see you in your toned down weathered armor and sporting some action poses with your BFG or E-11.

Ok, so I've been working on the dome and back for a stormtrooper helmet, and I have some pics and a few questions....
Oh, and I've been working on the ears, too...
VacTrooper I salute your efforts in sculpting your own TK Helmet.
Things seem to be in order except for the shape of your dome is bit too rounded per my observation.
-
Looks like the actor in this Stormtrooper suit has got a much bigger waist the extras in the movie. Looks like its ripping apart!
-
Congrats Joey and here's a toast to your 1000th over post here my friend!
-
Anybody have this armor or have input on this armor? Please PM me.
Thanks
It is durable and can take the abuse of trooping.
-
This will be my trooping bucket. One day when I have my own man-cave, I'll have room for a nice TE2 for display only!
Congrats on your purchase Manny. Trust me this light weight helmet is made for serious trooping. I know I've done it at first as a TK and going TD in it.
-
Did you modify the ears? The look of the ears is the only part I don't like from the DLaws helmet. Yours looks beautiful!
Thanks Manny - believe it or not the ears (albeit smaller and may not be the perfect fit for some) are the original as is parts. I did the necessary works with the Face Plate and Dome/End Cap to get the best fit I possible can before I re-attached the ear pieces.
-
Nice looking helmet Peter.
Thanks Thayne I hope you'll get your LAWS Helmet someday.
-
Hey Keith your armor looks fine. We'll be looking forward to have another look after you've toned down the "Dewback poodoo" and add some slight black wash to it. Remember the motto "Less is More" when it comes to weathering.
