  1. is on the hunt for a couple of armor parts.

  2. I do not wish to step on any toes, but why? I know they are not "cannon," but they are much more. They are a symbol of honor. I may no even have my suit yet, but I still wear my Portland Rose Festival Parade patch on my ACUs from when I returned from Iraq. One First Sergeant told me to take it off, but when the Batallion Commander asked the 1SG if he had to take his off as well, the 1SG left it alone. I know, I am probably speaking out of place, but it is the way I feel about things such as that. I mean, how many of you went to that? It was probably the majority of the 501st, from what I saw on the television at the convention center. That is a huge bragging rite for the 501st! But, this is just my opinion.
  3. That was excellent, but I'm guessing dancing was not taught on Carida...
  4. Can you imagine, for you youngins, the thrill of seeing stuff like that on the screen? I mean, this was no Star Trek combat, but actual space fighters. Real alien-looking aliens that only had a vague humanoid shape (as opposed to blue face-paint and a white wig with antenna). Weapons that didn't make the pew pew laser sound... Just imagine what people used to the movies from then must have thought. It would be like comparing Halo 3 to Super Mario from the Nintendo!
  5. Hair drier or hobby heat gun? The gun gets much hotter, but I do not think hot enough to melt plastic.
  6. It also depends on the speaker. I've seen some smaller speakers put out a heck of a sound. I'm currently looking into the electronics set-up for my bucket, and it looks as if I will be ordering a set with special micro-blasters... a bit of a play on some of the military speaker-phone systems. Not to mention, it just sounds cool when someone talks to you and you hear their voice comming from their head.
