Just finished my first ever custom Sandtrooper helmet.I used one of the MR UK Exclusive Stormtrooper helmets and worked my way through it over the past week.Teeth have been dremeled out and correct paints used for decals etc.Stripes are a more accurate version than the one supplied on the helmet.I awaiting delivery of my mesh and ill be 100% finished.I think it looks ok,but just thought id show it to you guys for second opinions Lee

Were the paints used on the ANH Stormtroopers different to the Sandtroopers? It looks as though the Sandtroopers had a lighter colour grey.I just finisned my Sandtrooper helmet that i made using one of the MR UK exclusives,and i used Humbrol AD#5 for the frown,trapezoids etc. Were different paints used for each trooper(Storm and sand) back when they were first made.

Just ordered myself one of these £59 helmets to start my new sandtrooper project.Ok,its not as good as some helmets out there but for £59 it was well worth it The following thread contains some nice pictures,with another helmet as comparison.Comments and opinions on this helmet would be good. ------------ Anyone else planning on getting one?
