Irishtrooper Posted October 29, 2009 Report Posted October 29, 2009 Ok so the UK now has a stocker of such paint (Homebase) at quite resonable price and in handy hobby can sizes etc. The question i want to ask my American Brethen (and everyone else who uses it outwith) is which colour do you guys use for spraying your lids and armour? Cheers in advance Quote
sskunky Posted October 29, 2009 Report Posted October 29, 2009 I'm in the uk and I used Wickes appliance White for my TE HDPE lid. I found this an excelent colour as it is a slightly warm off White which I think looks closer to the originals. Don't forget that the armor was abs and the lids were HDPE so they never matched anyway. Quote
kevster[TK] Posted October 30, 2009 Report Posted October 30, 2009 (edited) Most use this. It's called high performance enamel in a gloss white ----- primers can vary, but the big thing is get the same brand primer and paint and a light color. As long as you stick with same brand and same color, it should turn out fine. Or check out this guys thread about the krylon brand if you have that over there too ----- Edited December 5, 2020 by gmrhodes13 link not working, removed gmrhodes13 2020 Quote
