ANH Stunt ears and 501st/elite acceptance

From the CRL:

"The earpiece should have the raised rectangle painted grey with 3 (ANH hero) or 4 (ANH, ESB, ROTJ) ridges. "

 

The MRCE helmet comes with ears that have 5 ridges (one black and 4 grey). I haven't seen anything in my searching for MRCE mods that say this isn't going to be acceptable.

 

Does anyone have a definative answer as to whether or not I'm going to have to change these to get accepted?

As far as I know, it "should have" but isn't a "must have"

Your ears should be fine for EIB. You can change them out for more accurate ones which look a lot beter in my opinion.
