Will lower cod cut affect levels

Hi

 

Just a quick question , right since my early days in 2004 and my 5 TK’s later, I have always cut across the lower abb section and cod, which is hidden under the belt.  I have always done this as I find it easier to bend forward and for movement. 

 

 Cut line 

 

 

i have never really thought about it until now , but would this cut stop level clearance although it’s hidden  ?

No, not at all. Some makers, like RTMod, only provide a two piece (already cut) ab and cod.
