ROTJ TK boot sole painting

I recently purchased a CFO complete TK and was wondering whats the best method for painting the sole of my boots. I'm all ears.

After taping off all the leather around the soles, i just used a good white spray paint.  Something that specifies it's good for rubber.  Still holding up well after 19 troops.  If anything, it looks a little better after it scuffs up and chips a little bit.  Good luck!
