I personally would replace the fan connector with a very common JST  (2 terminal) male. Then splice a JST female version into the the battery cables them selves or find a spare male and female version with harness of the original battery and charger cable terminals (good luck).

that's what I was planning but I checked and I'm not sure what type of jst to get. They make different types. I'd also need to splice a male jst on the charger right?
