giric thren
on the AP armor there are little grooves to know where to trim (most people put a blade in the groove and carefully score). My question is when you look at the inside of the armor, the groove is a bump. could you get a dremel and with a sanding bit barely touch the top of the bump on the lowest setting? would that give the same effect with the blade. i have been tring to work on my armor since last Oct. and i dont have steady hands and have been using a blade up against the bump so if the blade slips it will cut the inside instead of the visable side....... thoughts? thanks Thomas
Vaj
If you cut from the inside you can't get sure to meet the outsides groove directly. It is easier to work precisely from the outside! Also the blade slips easier on the insides bump. Marcus
