DoopyDoos brown box: CHECK

Tino completion set: CHECK

Gazmosis replacement mag: STILL NEED

After lots of reading different build threads and waiting to get all the parts I thought I would need.  I am finally starting my E-11 build.  I've built a few metal DL-44 blasters and a couple of graflex lightsabers before, but this is the first all resin item attempt for me and it's been a while(long while), since getting back into the prop hobby and actually building something lol.

Since Empire Strikes Back is my favorite SW movie, the majority of my props are ESB related and continuing with this theme. I hope to eventually have an ESB TK and a Snowtrooper outfits as well.

Anyways back to the blaster...

I'm not sure what route I'm going to go with the scope.  I'd like to get a real scope(find one eventually), or one of the brass replicas out there.  I'm wondering if anyone here has had any issues with putting a real/metal replica scope on a resin blaster and had balance issues with it.  Until I get armor it will be for display and I don't want to worry about it flipping over on a stand or even possibly the scope rail break off from a combination of handling and being top heavy?  Even with the metal pin reinforcements?

I plan to add an inner barrel and working spring trigger, but for this first one, not much else for this one.  Probably sounds unoriginal but I figure it's OK for this first go round lol.

I started it the weekend before Halloween so I have pics to post and will add them tomorrow, if not then over the weekend when I start Day Two of the build.

Anyways, thanks for putting up with my rambling.  I can't wait to get back to it this weekend.
