I was just wondering if anyone knows of some good options I should look into. It is not really an option for me to put speakers into my mic tips. Any thoughts please let me know. Thanks, Jess Quote
TKedt[TK] Posted October 14, 2015 Report Posted October 14, 2015 in the movies TKs did not have static bursts effects. They had a gentle "click" after each "transmission". The Icomm unit has 7 different sound effects and you can configure it to do 1 sound. However, the voice recognition is very sensitive and will make a sound even if you didn't say a word. the unit can be activated by a ptt cable but the switch is very small or repeats itself after being activated. The usual combo is the Aker amp with the icomm. Crowds love it, i always get comments like "wow it sounds like a stormtrooper". Using the aker voice amp is ok too. Quote

It also produces random static bursts, and has five different settings that can be used to customize the effect.<br><br> Either system will generally cause the same reaction from the crowds.
