So I've had the armour half finished in a box for 4 years, I've been going the screen accurate attachment method all the way, as Im q prop collector not a costumer, well Thursday got a call that there was need for trooper in a film shoot ( nothing Star Wars related) I should also point out I work in the Tv and Film industry) and the director knowing I make S.w prop replicas and may have had Stormtrooper armor called me telling me that one of the troopers couldn't make it and could I come in,
So I said yeah sure no worries, then spent the next 12 hours finishing the set up, luckily is ordered an under suit a week earlier which I had got in theail that Tuesday a nice very accurate looking set of black cotton long johns, so I and my girlfriend were up till 2am finishing the suit,
As I kept the PP (khaki colour) in its unpainted state it was lucky that I already had an older RS helmet from there first run #22, I think which, I had painted and decided to leave the stripes off, after it is screen accurate, Mr No stripes!
I also got a bunch of the Comlink body parts from the same maker as the originals comlink and blaster parts, also from the same molds!! Doesn't get any better than that so I've added a comlink to my display
