TK or TX?

Recommended Posts

I am currently building my first costume which happens to be a TX or Blackhole trooper. Incase anyone is unsure what that is, it is a black storm trooper and is assigned to the Spec. Ops. site. Other than the color I can not find many differences. Some of the guys here in Ft. Wayne have been helping me assemble the armor but I still have a ways to go and my next obstacle is my bucket. I have been looking at the FISD and the Spec. Ops. site and have seen quite a few buckets but I want one that is already assembled and needs  nothing. Though if I need to add padding and electronics that's not a big deal. I do not want to build one and do not know how to build one. I am unsure weather a TK bucket would work or if I need to stick to the TX. I do not know all the differences between the two buckets even though I have been reading and researching as much as I can. I would also like some Ideas on the manufacturer I should order from if I need to order a brand new one as opposed to a used one. Any thoughts, ideas, or suggestions would be a big help. Thanks.   Sith_Lord117

p.s. my armor is extremely shiny and is made from black abs and I would like a bucket that goes with it, but if it needs painted that is ok.

p.p.s. if anyone has a bucket that they would be willing to sell that would work let me know.

p.p.p.s. I am not sure if this is where I am supposed to put this article or the sale area or where so if it is not in the right spot can the command staff put it in the correct area and let me know? Thanks again

I have exactly the same armour as yourself. Personally, if your after a prebuilt bucket then I would go the one built by ARAKYEL on Spec Ops. I bought one myself and they are a great helmet. There are several options but basically you supply your head size and if you want padding installed and hovi  tips. I can't recommend these enough!
