PatrickW1074[501st] Posted February 17, 2012 Report Posted February 17, 2012 (edited) Hello to all, I need some help concerning the chest and back piece to my AM armor kit. I am 6'-3" 240 so I decided to go with AM. It is an awesome kit by the way. I am doing the butt joint's and trying to get as close as I can to accurate. I am looking for some advice, photos, and links that would steer me in the right direction to trim the chest and back, primarily the sides (shoulders too). I have seen PandaTroopers AM build thread and it is way awesome!!! But, I am a visual person, so I need more detail so I do this right. I would be happy with some good photos of after trimming to get an idea. Thanks in advance. Patrick Edited February 17, 2012 by PatrickW1074 Quote

tkrestonva[TK] Posted February 17, 2012 Report Posted February 17, 2012 I'd also take a look at screen grabs, and try to make a judgement call based on those. Unless you have an upper body that is both the size and shape of a wine barrel, you'll definitely need to trim the wings back from both the chest and upper back. Quote
PatrickW1074[501st] Posted February 17, 2012 Author Report Posted February 17, 2012 (edited) I am in pretty good shape and definetly not shaped like a wine barrel. lol. Way too funny. Thanks for the advice. I have been looking at pictures and threads for days and I am trying to get the courage up to make the cuts I guess. When cutting on the arms and legs, well, that's no big deal. But, the chest and back . Just don't want to screw up my investment. Thanks again. Patrick Edited February 18, 2012 by PatrickW1074 Quote
