SamJ[501st] Posted September 19, 2011 Report Posted September 19, 2011 I've been looking at the pictures of the MoM RoTJ blaster and noticed something odd. The prop builders hadn't cut off the back of the magazine they'd cut off the front as shown by the lack of tabs on the magazine. By removing the front though it means the magazine catch won't work. Does anyone know how they kept the magazine in? Quote
troopermaster Posted September 19, 2011 Report Posted September 19, 2011 Maybe they just used a shorter mag for the MGC? Quote
SamJ[501st] Posted September 19, 2011 Author Report Posted September 19, 2011 There actually isn't a short magazine for the MGC, the ten-round magazine pictured is for the C1. I wonder, does anyone actually know whether C1 magazines fit in to the MGC? I know Sterling mkIV mags don't and just assumed the same as the C1, like the mkIV, is larger than the MGC but it'd be good to get confirmation. Quote
troopermaster Posted September 19, 2011 Report Posted September 19, 2011 I don't own an MGC Sterling, but I used to own an MGC M4A1 and real Colt mags didn't fit it, so I'm guessing it's the same with the Sterling as they use shorter PFC rounds. Quote
