Alternative DIY rubber seamless rubber neck seal

I thought of a way to get a seamless neck seal for cheap and easy to make yourself. Take S -trim like on the bottom of the stormtrooper helmet and wrap it around itself and hook itself to itself. Kind of like a slinky fashion. A smaller gauge trim would work better than the size that goes on the helmets. I had some extra laying around but only enough to make three ribs high. You would almost have to fashion it as you put it on or have a helper do it unless you find some more elastic type of trim.

Like I said it's relatively inexpensive and easy to make an has no seam. It may work for someone on a budget.
