Barricade[501st] Posted July 12, 2011 Report Posted July 12, 2011 I have a AM set of armor and the thigh armor rubs together when I walk. I've trimmed it down and it fits pretty good, but now I'm wondering if I need to trim the insides down to keep it from rubbing or should I just leave it be? Suggestions? thx guys Quote
tkrestonva[TK] Posted July 12, 2011 Report Posted July 12, 2011 I'm not sure how you could trim it to solve that one. Photos might help clarify, though. Barring that, I say as long as it fits properly and you can move as well as can be expected given the inherent limitations of any armored costume - leave it as is. Quote
gazmosis[501st] Posted July 12, 2011 Report Posted July 12, 2011 Amen, Brian. Dude, as a human (unless you weigh 110 lbs. soaking wet) your thighs come pretty close to touching naturally. Now, encase them in plastic armor. They're gonna rub a bit. Since your AM is ABS, you just need to polish out the rub marks. At most you'll need some 800 grit paper than polish. Don't cut anything!!!! Quote
Barricade[501st] Posted July 12, 2011 Author Report Posted July 12, 2011 thanks guys...thats what I was thinking, just wasn't sure if there was something that could be done. Quote
