Overlapped AND Finishing Strips

I'm just curious on how many troopers have their armor overlapped AND have the finishing strips ANH style.

 

I'm in the middle if adding the strips, but before I complete it, just wanna see some pics of other troopers who have done it successfully.

You could do a little experiment - buy some cheap plastic, cut it up, and add some overlap strips via non-permanent method (low-strength glue?) and see how it comes out.

I haven't tried it, but IMHO think it would look awfully thick at the back. If you're going to try it, I would suggest making the overlap face inward for aesthetic purposes.
