Q about FX Forearm shimms

Has anyone used shims on their forearms before???

 

Iv'e got some but can't decide the best way to do it...any ideas/pics???

I had to shim mine a little bit, I will try to add some pictures when I get back home later tonight.

I use shims on my FX forearms.

 

I used the extra ABS "belt pieces" that came with my kit, cut them down to the appropriate size and width, and glued them in place. Many people glue on side and velcro the other (which I did at first), but since then I've glued both sides of the shim and simply slide the forearm piece on/off. Works like a charm.
