If you don't request a specific number, you get assigned one randomly.
=) well that works out perfectly

Hi i have the same problem im 5ft 4"s and have ordered an FX kit i am thinking of a slightly higher boot being a woman it may work, it dose worrie me when i join a group having taller guys next to me but then i think i love what im doing and being there for a charity event well say no more i shall keep people informed
yeah I am also 5'5" =) and on budget so i think i would have enough skills to cut/trim it....if not go to my brother-in-law to have some pointers and or massively look at the endless tutorials here! ...(thank goodness for youtube) but i dont think it would be that bad for FX for its "supposedly" fit up to 5'6" to 6'3". Just I rather get a helmet that wont look like I have a tremendous noggin =/ *hopes to get the FX light and buy a master replica helmet*
But like you ladyscout =) i would love to join the charity events as well and wearing armor doing so!

Howdy Mariannie,
The benefit of no cash it that it enforces some well needed research time. There are a lot of options on kits, but EBay is certainly not the cheapest way to go. You can buy new from resources on this board, and also from time to time suits come up for sale that can be a real bargain.
=) Hey thanks all for the welcomes! Yeah i've been reasearching alright but it does seem like an endless thing to learn but my learning curve is greatly increase here! I've have browsed through the sale/trade topic area and I hope to get one off one of ya in due time. I am probably not that good in crafting but I would certainly try to mod the armor if it isnt already modded.
Would it matter much difference so it says that I am 5'5" for that inch usually say 5'6" to 6'2"?

Hello all here at the FISD! I've been searching here long enough to say "what the hay! might as well join." Still trying to save up for a kit and still debating on what I want to get TK, TX, or TC but the money isnt flowing o.< recently out of college and they demand money! *sighs* Well I will get one one day =) and I would love some help on the price range for kits cause well the only thing I find kits is on ebay. So best of luck and hopefully I can be trooping soon!
