Hello guys,
My first Stormtrooper armor is currently being built, and everything was going great until I encountered a problem with my feet... I have a pointy "bump" on my insteps — a pretty large one on both feet. It's hereditary and part of the bone structure, so it's not "removable" (see attached pictures).
The issue: Due to the lack of lacing on Stormtrooper boots, I haven't found a single Chelsea boot that fits without causing significant pain. Every model I've tried so far (more than 10) literally "grinds" against my bony bumps.
1. Do you think it's possible to make an exception for medical reasons, allowing me to modify the boots for example by making a small cut where the bumps are and sewing a piece of leather over them for extra space?
2. I found a pair that hurts "less," and the shoemaker might be able to widen them without cutting or altering their appereance because they're made of softer calf leather. Would this boot meet the requirements?:

Of course, I would color the leather with white leather paint.
I'm asking you before taking them to the shoemaker because the boots themselves are not cheap, and the adjustments won't be free either. It would be wasted money if the modified boots aren’t even allowed.
Thank you so much in advance!
