  1. Okay.... So I think I’m posting this in the right place haha.

Anywhooo.... After bein sick and trying to graduate, I’ve finally had time to work on my helmet!

I went ahead and Plasti-Dipped the pieces, and it’s looking great! I’ve just got some places where I maaaaay have oversprayed on the faceplate. I probably should have sanded the teeth more...

So here’s where I’m at... When attaching the brow trim, do I slide it onto the edge of the helmet, or do I just glue it on top? I feel like if I slide it on, there isn’t as much of a raw edge, but I also know where the trim and decals are supposed to meet. The brow trim is too long to slide on, so I’m wondering whether I should trim the trim or not...

Thank y’all so much for the help I have already received!!! I appreciate it very much!!! I can’t wait to keep working on my helmet! And *internal happy screams* I’m on the waitlist for a full kit! This is such a dream come true. I still can’t believe it’s actually happening.EC5E95A1-1E7D-4CFF-BC8B-652D550D100C.thumb.jpeg.11c1de677b2a235fefa61793adc6482d.jpeg

  2. Thank you so much!!! I honestly thought I had ruined my helmet, but I read the links gmrhodes13 sent me, and it helped A TON!!
  3. Thank you so much! I am so sorry for posting in the wrong area again! Extremely new to this site.
  4. Hello there! I’m sorry if I’m posting in a wrong area, as I am new to the building process and using the forums. Soo I’ll just jump right in with my question... Just got my helmet kit in a couple days ago, and I’m super excited to work on a cosplay that has been my dream since a kid. I’ve already started by cutting out the eyes, teeth, and bottom trim of the helmet. However, I’m having trouble lining up the front plate to the back plate. I’m not sure how much overlap there should be. Also, when I do attempt to line them correctly, there’s a lot of gapping that won’t stay down. I don’t wanna force (no pun intended) anything, because I’m scared I’ll break the helmet. The ears are also driving me crazy, but that’s another subject haha. To whomever reads this, thank you for your time, and I will definitely appreciate any help given! Have a wonderful Sunday! -Abby (aka clueless potato)
