Welcome! You have a fun road ahead. I built an AP kit almost 18 months ago to Centurion. It was my first ever build, but Mark (at AP) is happy to provide advice and there is also a tonne of advice and tips to be found from folks here and in their build threads. Have fun and never be afraid to ask questions

Hey trooper! Looking good so far. As someone who went though EIB and Centurion recently (last 12 months), I can say that providing detail photos is a great way to diagnose any required changes.
If you take a look over the CRL and note the requirements at EIB and Centurion, then provide photos, it will make it easier for others to help out. For example, a close-up photo of the thigh ammo pack, close ups of your sniper plate (all angles), close up front on of your boots, close up of shoulders, etc. It looks like you're close anyway, as Glenn has noted above, but these finer details will yield the information you're after.

Hey Chris,
If you build your TK as well as your Boba Fett, it will look amazing!
I found a wealth of advice from everyone on FISD and my home garrison forum. My advice is: if you are ever unsure, always reach out.
Good luck and can't wait to see your progress.

Sorry to hear you're having an issue, Jeff.
I paid a deposit on a kit from Mark in February 2020, but the pandemic impacted production on all fronts - Mark's workshop access, materials, shipping, you name it. I only had a few emails from Mark over that time. My kit was eventually delivered in September. So, about seven months from ordering to delivery.
I can't speak for the current situation at AP, but I do know worldwide that intermittent lockdowns and ongoing issues impacting logistics and supply chains are hitting manufacturers of any level. What I will say is, the wait for my kit was worth it and I couldn't be happier.
(Just an aside: if you cancel this order, who's to say you're not going to end up at the end of another long order queue elsewhere?)

You're helmet build looks great, but I can see some of the causes of your issues. I'll DM you.

Welcome Jeff!
You're on an exciting journey. My first 501st costume was assembling a TK ANH Stunt kit from AP, and I had a blast. Mark from AP is very helpful, so always reach out to him. I also found a wealth of support from everyone on the forum here - there is no end to the experience here!
My advice (echoed to me by many, many others here) is, take your time. Whether it takes months or years, build the armour you want the first time. Good luck and have fun!

Congratulations Grave! It is such an achievement.
As Centurion #488, I can say to anyone thinking of embarking on either a new build or upgrades in order to reach the certification, just go for it!
The process of researching designs, techniques, materials and mods (if required) to build a set of TK ANH Centurion armour gave me a comprehensive understanding of building armour in general, as well as an appreciation for the fine details that entail EIB and Centurion status. This is experience I will take into my next build, and the next, and so on.

Hi Mark, and thank you for your Centurion application!
CRL and Centurion Application Requirements:
All required photos have been submitted, and on behalf of the entire D.O. staff we are pleased to welcome you to the rank of CENTURION. Congratulations!
Other-Armor Fit/Assembly;
In this area we review observations made by your fellow troopers and the DO team. Some observations may lead to suggestions to improve the overall look of your armour. Note that we consider both text (CRL) and pictures (screen caps/reference images) when reviewing submissions.
Nothing to add here Mark. Sharp and Clean Centurion Application Trooper!! You did an outstanding work with your build and must be proud of it. Well done.
Thank you! Wow, boy! I am definitely proud and grateful, and very, very stoked!
A big thanks to the DOs for their guidance and patience. You're all doing (and have always done) an amazing job to help everyone get to 500 and beyond. A rising tide lifts all boats, as they say.
A big thanks also to my fellow troopers at Knightfall for their help and guidance. It's been a tough year for many, but the feeling of isolation has been lessened somewhat knowing I could always reach out for assistance. It won't be long now and we can actually meet and troop!

Hey team! An update on my build. My submission to EIB was approved last week (thanks to the Emperor!) and want to say a big thanks to everyone who helped with advice along the way. Building in isolation (literally) was a little daunting to begin with, but a lot of research, advice and many questions from myself made it feel like I was in a crowded room with friends. Thanks! A mighty thanks also to the DOs, who have set many high bars with the EIB 1000 and Centurion 500.
I'm also proud to announce I have submitted my TK for Centurion assessment. I've spent the last week(-ish) making mods and have to say I am much happier. FYI - I took a cm off either side of the kidney plate to bring in the sides (which included ABS pasting the holes and drilling new ones), replaced the Ab/kidney plate connections, gave the shoulder bridges a heat treatment, repositioned the velcro on my belt to get it to sit higher, and painted black the cocking lever on my E-11.

All required photos have been submitted, and on behalf of the entire D.O. staff we are pleased to welcome you to the rank of Expert Infantry. Congratulations!

I followed your Building Thread till your pre approval submission and let me say you did an awesome work with your build .
Let's start with the Helmet.
We are suggesting to clean up a bit your vocoder to reflect the more accuracy the the screen used helmet. This is an easy fix !
Reference Images
***************************************************
Centurion Requirements;
In this section we prepare you for Centurion. Because Centurion photos show more detail than EIB, items pertaining to Centurion might be seen there and not here and additional photos may be required. We try to point out all that we can from what we see, but the final accuracy is the responsibility of the trooper.
This could be just a dressing issue or a hot bath need, but your left shoulder bridge seems is not quite centered to the backplate, also there is a little "curl" of elastic showing, just something to consider every time you suit up. .
Reference Images
CRL L3: Ideally there no gap between the abdomen and kidney armor. Abdominal and Kidney Plate align horizontally at top
Looking closely to your ab to kidney connection, we noticed that the kidney plate protrudes a bit from the ab plate and causes a noticeable gap on the left side, this could be just a simple strapping adjustment.
Reference Images
CRl L3: The top of the ABS ammo belt should sit at or just above the bottom of the central and vertical abdomen button panels.
It would be necessary to raise your AB belt a bit to achieve the L3 requirement , in your case it seems that you already have a Velcro piece on the abdominal plate so it is easy to adjust.
Reference Images
Finally , your E11 Blaster.
Your your cocking lever is silver color and these are normally black , a little silver (weathering) is ok, as you can see in the reference images. Just a simple detail and easy to fix in a quick painting session.

Congratulations again and looking forward for your Centurion submission soon. Well done Trooper !!!
***************************************************
Thank you! This is amazing!
With all the advice I received and the other excellent builds out there that I poured over, it feels like a real team effort. Thanks to everyone who helped me!
I've made notes of your suggestions for a Centurion submission and will get onto fixes this weekend.
Thanks again!

Hi Mark, almost ready with your review.
Could you please add a close photo of your boots? Sides and front.
Thanks.
Hey Mario, Great, thanks! I've added two photos of my boots to the above. The white balance seems a little off though, I assure you they are white as white!

Your shoulder straps on the back are not quite centered to the backplate, also there is white excess elastic showing
Noticed your cocking lever is silver, these are normally blackstar-
Could you also post thigh ammo strip inside connectors, I know the DO's like to see that
Good luck with approval although I doubt you will need it.Nice catches there! Those pesky elastics. And what a great pic ref of the E-11.
Thank you. I'll add pics now.
