We can definitely help you out with this, James, but pictures really are worth a thousand words.  Try to add detailed and full shots of the area, as well as the strapping you currently have.  At 5'11, you shouldn't have any trouble getting them to line up, and we will help you make it happen!

I added a new post today with pics I can’t load them here for some reason

  2. So got a set of used stunt armor and I’m not happy with the space I have between the lower part and kidney plate. How HOW can I fix this , and I need to bring it all just generally in I’m skinny.

  3. So just got a suit and it seems I have a large space between the backplate and kidney. I always see these two parts snapped together but in no way could I try that. The suit seems like it was for a few pounds heavier guy than me.

    Hello there!

Like others have said before, the place to go for Sandtrooper resources is the MEPD forum.

    http://forum.mepd.net/index.php

The builds are of course similar, and I've seen people doing their build threads both here and there, so starting a build thread on here is probably a good idea. For all tips on weathering though (and the Move Along Captain is so iconic!), def hit up the MEPD forum.

Also, there are no Centurions with MEPD - level 3 equivalent is SWAT where you emulate an on screen trooper (like what you want to do!).

Good luck with the build! It'll be loads of fun.

Explain The no Centurion with mepd? Cause I’m trying to build a Centurion level build move along trooper

  5. New noob to the group 1st build about to start I’ll do my best to keep updates if y’all want them. Going to do my best to recreate the move along sandtrooper as best I can. I’m sure y’all have seen this build 1000x but it’s cause he’s a thug . Yes he may have a weak mind and allowed Luke to pass with those damn droids but still you can see he’s put in work.

As Arthur mentioned, using the bracket (also known as the "classic") system (photo 1) is not a requirement for Centurion level.  Most of us use the nylon straps (photo 2)now which will get you all the way to level 3.

There are lots of troopers out there who prefer to be more screen accurate, and although Darren is no longer making the sets they should be available at Trooperbay:
