  1. Here’s the results! Definitely a lot better.
  2. After looking at ukswrath’s build I think I’m gonna cut the sides down to 7.5mm. I should still have plenty of room for my wrist.
  3. Thank you gmrhodes13 for the measurements and guides! I ended up cutting to 1/2 an inch for the sides. Here’s how they look, you can see me lining my 15mm cover strip up in the last photo. There’s still some of that side edge sticking out. Would that be acceptable or do I need to trim some more so my strip covers it? I can get my wrist inside comfortably as is, it’s snug at the ends towards my bicep.
  4. Hi Everyone! After COVID, life, and moving across states i'm finally at a point to continue working on my armor. I'm currently finishing where i left off trimming, starting with the forearms and up to the shoulder bells. Right off the back i noticed there's a lack of mold lines for trimming the sides where the cover strips will go. Is there a good rule of thumb for how much i can trim? I plan on starting with cutting at 5/16 an inch since the cover strips will be 5/8 and taking photos for ya'll. Here's what i have so far, trimmed all the way to the return edges since i'm shooting for centurion.
  5. It looks like I cut it too high, the trap looks too small. I might have to get a new helmet :/ Sent from my SM-N960U using Tapatalk
  6. Hey y'all hope you all had a happy halloween! My stencils came in the mail this week so I can start painting my helmet. One thing I noticed while holding my helmet together is this indented line from the molding on the brow. Do I still need to trim the brow then? I'll also be painting the hovi mics and vocoder tonight. Sent from my SM-N960U using Tapatalk
  7. Thank you!! Sent from my SM-N960U using Tapatalk
  8. Will a smaller plate be a problem? Sent from my SM-N960U using Tapatalk
  9. Problem: I was following the indents and when i checked photos i freaked out. My edges are curved instead of flat. Is there any way i can save this? Sent from my SM-N960U using Tapatalk
  10. I wanna start painting before I put the whole thing together. Would it be possible to print out a tube stripe stencil? Also I can't seem to find a post about the ata TD, I wanna make sure I cut it to the same length. Do y'all know one? Sent from my SM-N960U using Tapatalk It should be 7 1/2 inch. I think

  21. So I started trimming today. I'm unclear where I should trim on the helmet. I'm also cleaning up the ears. I'll cut it out more when i get to screwing the whole thing together. I'll also be dremeling on the teeth tonight, I'll post a pic once I'm done. Also, should I trim the top of the face piece? Sent from my SM-N960U using Tapatalk
  22. It's finally here! BBB day! Everything seems to be in perfect condition. I still need to get the grey PVC for my TD. I'm thinking of starting with the helmet and then moving on to the rest. Specs: Armor: ATA boots: ImperialBoots soft parts: AP Strapping: ImperialBoots Comments and suggestions are very much welcomed as I try to put this thing together!
