Here's my fan installation. Here's the AAA cell holder I used:https://www.amazon.ca/gp/product/B07PGMW61H/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_search_asin_title?ie=UTF8&psc=1
I can share the STL file for th 3D printed piece that holds the batteries and switch in the helmet if anyone wants it.

Thanks for putting Troopduino on the list. I'll be updating soon.

Personal use is usually not a problem. I'd always direct questions to my CO though to be safe.
BTW those look awesome!
Thanks for the advice.

Hi Andrew and congrats on making the best decision of your life. ...
This is turning out to be true. Loving every minute of it.

It's my second troop tonight (Weird Al) and I needed fans installed. I got a 3D printer a few weeks ago, so I made a quick and dirty battery and switch mount. I'll come up with something more permanent later.

Troop #1
This was my first troop - 4 hours in my armour and I practically had to be dragged away. It was a lot more fun than I expected. I discovered a few things I need to adjust, but it went very well.
Blast a Trooper
Sorry Lord Vader, some ladies prefer a trooper in uniform!

I made some more graphics. Doing the red and white together was a bit of a pain, but if I was going to do it, it had to be done right. I'm pretty happy with the way it came out. Eventually I'll cover the Husky logo and move my TK number there.

I tried to find one of those boxes while on vacation in Canada and had no luck. Don’t think they sell them in Japan.
Really only want it because it is “Husky”. He he
Sent from my iPhone using TapatalkI actually thought of you when I bought it. LOL The next time you're back in Canada, check Home Depot.

I just bought a storage bin and I have a garrison BBQ tomorrow and hopefully my first troop on Sunday. I'm waiting for some bin badges from Assassin Graphics, so I just quickly made up some temporary graphics on my Cricut. I wan't to put on the 501st banner or the stormtrooper banner. I'd also like to add the EIB graphic. It seems crazy to buy vinyl banners when I have a vinyl cutter. So my question is, am I allowed to cut those banners for my own box, or is it considered merch even if I don't sell them?

Thanks guys. I'll be diving into my adjustments for Centurion next week. I'll have a few questions. I think I'll ask them in my build thread.

Woot! It's an honour to make EIB. Thanks to everyone for helping me get there.
You've done a very thorough job of evaluating my armour and the tips on bringing it to the next level are very much appreciated. I will make the necessary changes before sending in my Centurion application.
Thanks.

Very nice looking build. What electronics do you have in there? Looks very clean.
Sorry, I missed your post.
It's a Diyino Stardust 3.

Andrew,
I'm going to ask for a quick fix before I can continue your app.
Per the CRL's both new and older versions state "Frown is painted gray and does not leave the teeth area"
Take a look at the reference photo on the right and you'll see what we're looking for. Fortunately with a toothpick, mineral spirits and time you get it looking screen accurate in no time.
Post the new photos when you get this complete and we'll go from there.
How's this?

Nice work trooper, a couple of photos I know the DO's like are:
Sniper plate front and both sides.
Thigh ammo strip rivets inside and out.
Just watch your belt placement, it's a little slanted in first image.
Good luck with approval.
The gun really pulls down on the belt. Is the gun required to be in the holster for the photos?

Thanks for the feedback. I added the extra photos.

Hi Adam,
I'm glad you feel it will be helpful to you. I read through several build threads to make sure I was doing things correctly.
