This is what I think needs to be trimmed what do you think? Also I think a majority of the face has been trimmed already. Suggestions?

If you could post some photos of the various parts of the helmet, Chris, we can help a bit better.  We can then show you the areas that need to be trimmed using imgur.  (Example below in red).

This will be my first build. I ordered the helmet first as this looked like the harder part to complete. Question I still have is where to trim the cap'n'back. don't want to trim too much. Also looking at using flex seal inside instead of plastidip. Can I spray it before I start trimming the eyes and teeth or does it matter? I will post pics as I go and I would love advice on this thread as I go. Also is this the right place for this post?

HA HA HA. look close at the pic after the first coat. There's a guys head on the newspaper that is aligned just right inside the frown. BTW seeing your post gives me confidence that I can do this.

Where exactly are you?  Most Garrison Titan members are further inland, but there are some folks on the peninsula and down in Portland. Also, have you registered on the Garrison Titan boards yet?

Just registered and waiting on approval. Would love to find out if there are any members close to me, that can help with my build. I'm in Aberdeen, Wa.

If you in WA state, your local garrison is Garrison Titan. While you are unable to officially join the garrison without a costume, you can still become involved with the garrison until you're ready to join with your costume. You can come out to our monthly meet-and-greet, which is at Round Table Pizza in Renton. If you're unable to make it to a meet and greet, you can still come out to events we're at as a spotter. Spotters are invaluable and key to a successful troop, and you don't have to be a member to be one of our spotters. It will get you an up close look at not only the costumes you want to build, but also the process of putting it on, moving in it, and interacting with the crowds. Any questions you have about certain parts can be viewed and answered in person. 
 
ATA is a fantastic kit, it was my first kit and I loved it. It assembles nearly identical to most other kits, so as the others have mentioned, check out build threads on this forum, preferable ones that are sticky'd to the top, as they're great builds and full of info and photos. What I also like to do is check out the subforum where members apply for Level 2 and Level 3 TKs, Expert Infantrymen and Centurion. You see their submission photos showing kits of the highest quality, as well as specific comments on where to improve a part if it doesn't meet the standards. 

How do I find the meet and greet time? I just joined the forum for Titan.

New to the FISD. Going to start ANH helmet build from ATA. Looking for advice on that build as well as any detailed vids out there. Looks like I can't join the local garrison until I have a set of Armor or costume in general, so I can't find armor build parties from that source. really excited to start and have read the new members info here. Will then work on purchasing the rest of the armor. Want to do a 501st approved build, so all advice and pics are helpful as well as info on local resources for questions and help if needed. Thanks in advance.
