    If anyone has $650 they want to throw in the trash and never see again, Anovos just announced a Mandalorian helmet.

Due to our direct access to the filming prop, advanced research and development efforts, and stateside manufacturing capability we have produced a replica that could be used right on the set of The Mandalorian!

    PRECISION SCULPT:

    This helmet is very different from its predecessors while still keeping true to its lineage from existing Mandalorian helmets. With access to the film-used helmets from The Mandalorian, we used 3D digital scan technology to capture the precise geometry, right down to 0.2 millimeters of accuracy, to create our exacting reproduction.

    QUALITY CAST:

    This The Mandalorian helmet is the first offering from our craftsmen at our brand new stateside manufacturing facility. Because we own the manufacturing facility we can implement a more artisan “hands-on" approach to the manufacturing process. This allows for careful oversight of each product’s production cycle to help ensure your expectations of accuracy and quality are faithfully met.

    HAND-PAINT AND FINISH:

    The Mandalorian’s helmet may appear to have a simple pewter finish but it's deceptively complex. We learned about the paints and processes used by the prop department to create the original helmets. To perfect our finishing process we painted our prototypes side-by-side with an original screen-used helmet which allowed us to instantly compare our paintwork directly to the original piece and make adjustments as needed. Once our factory paint and finishing processes were perfected, our research team directly guided our artists as they hand-painted and weathered each helmet based on the same multi-stepped techniques used to create the originals.

    Not only is this helmet an authentic and highly detailed true-to-life replica you can display, but it is also a fully wearable adult costume accessory. Each helmet is finely crafted of fiberglass and is appointed with a fully-lined interior that can fit heads up to a size 8 US hat. Each helmet, from start to finish, has been carefully hand-crafted by our skilled craftsman located here in The United States of America.

    Tbh all I would love is just communication and updates. Back when they did the tiered launch for the OT stormtrooper, updates were very prompt. hence I was cool with the wait.
     
    For this, the update is almost not seen. Terrible
     
    But i'm still holding on nevertheless as if they ever deliver it's a steal. 
     
     
    Yeah man updates would be very nice;-;
    This lack of communication from them is so frustrating

    Due to the many recent delays for preorders, Anovos sent this letter out to their customers and I thought it'd be interesting to share with you all today.

    The letter just mainly talks about how Anovos will start changing how they function in order to improve their customer service; how they will do this I do not know.

    Due to the many recent delays for preorders, Anovos sent this letter out to their customers and I thought it'd be interesting to share with you all today.

    It states,

     

    "To our customers,

     

    At ANOVOS, we strive to make high quality products and deliver them in a timely manner. Our founding principle was to create costumes and props that would set the “gold standard” in production quality replicas. However, we realize that we have not effectively met the delivery expectations of our customers, and we would like to sincerely apologize for any frustration this may have caused.

    Our goal is always to improve all aspects of our company, and we are aware of the delays in production, refunds, and in-stock shipments. We, too, consider these delays unacceptable and hear your concerns.

    Over the next few days we will be communicating how ANOVOS plans to change in order to serve our customers and community better. It is our hope that these necessary changes in both process and transparency will restore your trust and faith in us as a valued customer.

    I recently acquired this 1977 stormtrooper at a toy store. I found out that there's a lot of variations of this toy out there and I was wondering if you guys could help me identify which one it is? Also I want to confirm if it's the real thing, because I bought it for an okay price.

    Hi, I would like to know all of your experiences with Anovos's preorders because my order of Cassian's field jacket hasn't had any real progress for over a year. Anovos "claims" that there's been a lot of setbacks such as moving manufacturers and errors with fabric and color. The item had an original ship for Winter 2017. Recently, they've changed that to Winter 2018.

     

    Has anyone else had any experiences like this with their preorders? I've heard a lot of people say that their customer service isn't very good.

  23. Where to get fully-assembled ANH stormtrooper armor?

    Hey guys Barry here, I'm from Southern California and after reading some posts I have some questions to ask about fully-assembled ANH stormtrooper armor.

    Also, I have no experience in building such things and I hope that I can join the 501st once I'm old enough.

     

    1. First off, does anybody know any makers of ready to wear armor that are based in the US? I've heard about TrooperMaster and visited his facebook but I'm not sure if he ships armor to the US since he's UK based.

     

    2. If there are makers of ready to wear armor based in the US that you know of, are they already 501st compatible?
