  1. ok cool no that helps a lot thanks guys i think i might lightly use the newspaper method then just let it build up over time
  2. Hi i've started building my TK kit and have seen any mention of what level of weathering is allowed or if it even is allowed. I've seen people do weathered TK's before but i was just wondering if i could get approved with it. I only want to do a little bit of wear and tear on my trooper to make him look a bit more realistic, kinda like the rogue one prison guards/ troopers.
  3. this is my right shin and is probably the worst of the glue on the kit
  4. Hi so i decided to buy and build my first ever kit for the 501st with the ANH stormtrooper. The kit has gone together nicely and looks great but unfortunately i didnt do enough research into how they're put together so i have used contact adhesive. Problem is the contact adhesive is obviously not clear and you can see it on the seams of the strips to connect parts. I can post pics later if you need them. My question is what do you think i should do about it. is it worth sanding it out and re painting the kit or should i add some weathering on top of it. Is weathering allowed on Stormtrooper kits to be approved. nothing to heavy just a little like you see on the clones in episode 3.
