I haven't built my armor yet, so everyone has an opinion. To me the chest looks big. I'd look at bringing the sides in 1/4 of an inch on both sides and see if the reduces the gap enough. Or it could be the strapping system being loose and no trimming is needed.

Unrelated to building a TK but still pretty cool I scored two Black Edition FX Lightsabers. They had 3 (Blue from New Hope, Vaders Red, and Green from RTJ) on the self at a local target, so I decided to go Blue and Red and Target had a buy 1 get 1 half off deal for Starwars stuff. Very stoked haven't bought anything for myself during Black Friday events in a while.

Just outside of Columbia
I plan on putting this together and maybe doing some trooping. We'll see how that goes, I'll do a build thread once I get the armor. I have a starwars themed extra bedroom so I'm gonna make a PVC mannequin for the trooper.

Just dropping in a line, my wife loves me and decided to get me a surprise for my Birthday.
She had to break down and ask a few questions so I caught on pretty quickly. I'm getting an Avonos TK Kit, it'll be my first build and I'm still torn between keeping it to a TK or going for a ST. Either way I'm fairly set on going Heavy Weapons with a BFG. I'm thinking go TK and dirty it up later if I want, best not start with a ST because it's probably hard to convert to a TK.
I'm techy by trade and fairly good with trade skills so I'm hoping I can tackle this armor kit. I'll follow the guides here and shoot for Centurion as I believe going all the way or not at all.I hope to do a full mic getup and cool the helmet with a fan setup. I did warn her that the armor is just the tip of the iceberg and I'll end up investing money in tools, additional goods, and tech things.
Anyways it'll be a bit before I can get my hands on the armor, as they've just have a waiting list / interest list sign up.
Figured I'd sign up here and stop stalking the boards as a guest.
