  1. Advice on shoulder bridges 4 up doesnt leave much at the back Sent from my GT-I9505 using Tapatalk
  2. Few updates . Firstly bought the mk 2 forearms from ross . New on the left and mk 1 on the right . For my arms the mk2 fit is a little better for me Sent from my GT-I9505 using Tapatalk
  3. Just waiting now to see if ross at rwa produces larger kidney sections to close the gap and hopefully when it comes to it . Get higher clearence [emoji5] Sent from my GT-I9505 using Tapatalk
  4. Thanks thats a bonus Issue was . Getting bells as close as i could . Pulled on the webbing too much . Stupid big shoulders lol . Leaving a larger gap for webbing to sit . Longer webbing meant more pull . This way can controll where they sit more Back and chest seem to be sitting fine now too . I can lower the back piece to sit better along kidney . But then the back doesent sit well over shoulder plad area . Leaves a gap all around at the sides Sent from my GT-I9505 using Tapatalk
  5. Thank you Elastic joining the bells not a issue ? Sent from my GT-I9505 using Tapatalk
  6. And a quick kit up Dont think im far away now Just waiting on some more e6000. new shoulder webbing . New under suit from xtreme racing and a sniper knee I may change Sent from my GT-I9505 using Tapatalk
  7. Lots of trouble with webbing pulling under bridges etc once shoulder bells attached . One issue being . Raise the back piece and it sits nice over shoulders . Lower towards kidney to close the gap and a bigger gap opens up around shoulder blade area . Bridge webbing pulls quite a bit once bells are attached . So decided on this to give me a bit more movement and allows to pull closer inwards Join both bells with elastic . Under bridge and neck seal Thoughts ? Sent from my GT-I9505 using Tapatalk
  8. Right shin . Heated up a little to help the rear cover strip conform a little better Sent from my GT-I9505 using Tapatalk
  9. Update . Orderd some more e6000 from ross at RWA . Snow has taken its toll on the postal service so awaiting a few pieces . Small crack in sniper knee which ive orderd a new one . Think i got the plate fitting all too well . Decided to go the bra gook method on the shins . Fairly pleased how these turned out Added small eyletts to the holes to hopefully help stop the hooks pulling through Sent from my GT-I9505 using Tapatalk
  10. Thanks mate . Been around . Just had to put on hold untill boots were sorted [emoji6] Sent from my GT-I9505 using Tapatalk
  11. Yey . Finally i can continue . Got round to ordering my boots from RS . Realy comfy and soft . Sized shins yesterday . Sniper knee attached to left and 25mm cover strip added to rear right . Will leave min of 24hrs before adding the velcro . Will post pics later In the mean time here are the boots . Well boot . Only took a pic of one Sent from my GT-I9505 using Tapatalk
  12. Ok so not much progress at the moment . . Just waiting to order my boots then i can size the rear of shins and add sniper knee olate etc . Do have some chelsea typr boots and the are narrow ankle just not high enough so thinking instead of using those to size i may be better to wait till u have my boots from ts . Money been a little tight after christmas and all . Will also be requesting help see if any one local can help with final touches to strapping . My stupid frame aint helping things [emoji52] Then such as back piece If i make it almost touch the kidney it feels too low on shoulder blade area and a promenant gap between shoulder blade etc . Move up a touch and it fits over my shoulder area fine but leaves a small gap between back and kidney . Prob around 20mm so may have to get a pic or two up to show what i mean So if any one local to me reading this can help fine tuning to make the armor sit better ... although i dont mind travelling a short distance then message and will get back to you The only thing i have done realy is the inside of my lid Using eva foam adhesive sheets and a foam helmet line from clive . I have more or less lined the inside of the helmet . Along with toyying with a chin strap What you think ? Sent from my GT-I9505 using Tapatalk
  13. Shoulder webbing Two poppers in place two different positions to check for fit etc . Sent from my GT-I9505 using Tapatalk
  14. Hi mate i have the elastic on poppers from thigh to a black belt. Pulling them up as far as i can Bridges were just in olace to see how things looked as will be adjusting a couple of things Sent from my GT-I9505 using Tapatalk
  15. Few tweaks now untill i get boots done . Rework some of the strapping and add some internal cover strips to parts . Actually cant wait to do the sniper knee and try the shins [emoji106] Sent from my GT-I9505 using Tapatalk
  16. Thanks mate just shoulders annoying me . Need smaller ones [emoji23] Going to redo some strapping so for now im adjusting things by adding extra poppers to it to get different fits . Once happy ill duplicate exactly how its needed [emoji106] Sent from my GT-I9505 using Tapatalk
  18. Thanks marra [emoji6] Ok so it seems ages since i posted something . A bit further on now . Need to Sort the strapping out a little . lower the chest a touch Shoulder bridges just held in place with a little velcro for photo purposes and not glued yet. Shoulders i can get closer but pulls the webbing under shoulder bridges . Maybe loosen between shoulder bell and bicep . Will keep playing to close the gap . Maybe a little more from return edge of shoulder bell Shins are not showwn . Ill wait to do these once i can size with some boots from rs [emoji4] How things looking ? Thanks Dave
  19. Thanks for the input All good and bad feed back welcome and still welcome all advice Cover strips will all be shaped and trimmed a little more in line with the part its on Sent from my GT-I9505 using Tapatalk
  20. Thanks Dan . Getting there mate Sent from my GT-I9505 using Tapatalk
  21. so removed a couple of mm. And love the difference . Bottom coverstrip now glueing on forearm . Will show pics when done. Right forearm replacement arrived from ross this morning . Other was good but after trimming all flashing . Was rather tight on upper part of forearm and didnt want bigger cover atrips and wanted to keep butt joints . So plan is to use a couple of mm of the flashing and keep the 15mm cover strips and butt joints Right thigh done with exception of trimming the cover strip a little and internal cover strips and a clean up Left shoulder bell and bicep now has elastic on and fits well. After a little hot water bath . Just needs a clean up and Just trying to stop the bridge webbing pulling ever so slightly Sent from my GT-I9505 using Tapatalk
  22. Back with a little update due to work commitments [emoji52] Gloves artived today from isd [emoji6] Great stuff [emoji106] Attached elastic to thighs utilising a black normal belt for now . Attached the elastic with poppers . Arms : Biceps . Trimmed minimal to fit . Elastics added to bicep and shoulder conection. No elastic on shoulder yet wrap around bicep There Was a oversized gap from where shoulder bell would meet shoulder bridges. Tried shortening the elastic a little but that just made the white webbing pull to one side . So a little hot water and looking much better i think :)maybe a few mm too close ? Though to move fully . Bicep needs held up as far as it will go . Mayed slightly shorter elastic bell to bicep? Just dont want it to pull on the webbing Then back to the left forearm. I havent fit the underside coverstrip yet due to sizing once bicep and shoulder were done . Do i need a little more off the bottom u think ? Quite good movement but cant move my hand too much before its bashing on the wrist end of the forearm. So thinking take a little off the bottom ? Hows it coming along Sent from my GT-I9505 using Tapatalk
  23. Decided to paint ab buttons How the ab buttons looking ? Ok and leave as they are ? A little more ? A little less ? Used a cotton bud to straghten edges and remove any excess Sent from my GT-I9505 using Tapatalk
  24. Are mine needing a little more off each edge you think ? Or does it go well with the rest of the bulky build [emoji23] Sent from my GT-I9505 using Tapatalk
  25. Lol dnt worry [emoji6] Sent from my GT-I9505 using Tapatalk
