  1. I need to pick someone's brain that has experience with the AM 2.0 bucket building. First did you glue the cap on first ? Second are the three holes on each side good reference for the inner screws ? Or did you find you needed to screw in different areas ?
  2. Ahh ha I see thank you. RLH2515
  3. so we know what these are but how much do you trim off. No clue by pictures how far it stands up off armor. RLH2515
  4. Getting the seam at the top to be unnoticeable will be a challenge. But no rush here. RLH2515
  5. some thigh and shin trimming. RLH2515

  9. I've tried not to chatty. I'm new so I expect it. RLH2515
  10. I've kinda been thinking if its seen leave what you can. If it can't be seen by none other then by an Ewok let it go lol RLH2515
  11. Yeah I kinda figured it was a cut to fit type deal. But being my first I like to ask. Don't think anyone from old line garrison uses FISD. Or I just haven't met them yet :-) RLH2515
  12. How much of a return edge did you leave on your thighs and shins. I know the bottom can be taken off the shins. And I also know you want some on top for the illusion of thickness. Just testing the the majority.
  13. well worked on forearms tonight removed return edge with belt sander and fitted one. No rush here. RLH2515
  14. I guess tracing my fist will get this close enough for the clam shells. These suckers are huge ! RLH2515
  15. I can't seem to get any advise for the moment so off I go. the TD was easy enough now I'll attempt the biceps RLH2515
  16. When you cut your biceps and forearms. Did you remove equal amounts from both parts ? And did it help by removing the return edge first for fitting purposes. RLH2515
  17. Once I get and idea of how to cut this back I'll be good. Most other armor builders have that edge they go by to cut back to. It's not there with this so I guess I'll be winging it. RLH2515
  18. No matter how many posts I look at my armor doesn't look like any of the others. One forearm has a nice bend on inside piece where as the other has more of a round shape. Any one else have this problem with am 2.0 ? RLH2515
  19. ok my questions for the day. Does the left arm have 11 buttons and the right have 12 for the forearm? Is it normal that the right has more of a curve on the inside piece and the left is more round shaped? Can i cut most of the excess off one side or is the norm to split the difference? Thanks I ask a lot of questions lol. RLH2515
  20. Bingo! Tony's thread is awesome RLH2515
  21. Yeah I've been searching and looking for months now. But everything went fuzzy when it's actually in my hand lol. Like I don't want to mess this up ! RLH2515
  22. So I've seen a 5mm return top and bottom of bicep. But the top is mostly under the shoulder bell. No rush here just waking on some advise. RLH2515
  23. ok so I'm starting with my biceps. I'd think I can take most all of the return edge off the bottom of both halves. That should make sizing easier. Also should the curved piece be at the bottom of you bicep? RLH2515
  24. Oh yeah I'm ready case of red bull and off I'll go. RLH2515
  25. Yeah I plan on helmet last most definitely RLH2515
