Thx Brian I run with 2 fans, off a single 2200mAh USB stick. I have ordered a replacement undersuit. Trouble is, I will likely only get the pants part before my first troop. Will have the shirt next week. Hoping for some miracle. ;-) I have memory foam inserts in my boots. I do need to practice doing stairs. I am going to have to go down to the field and back up at my MiLB troop Saturday. Taking my EIB - Centurion pics Friday. I did not really like how my Basic pics turned out. Hoping everything works well for the troop.

Just approved early this week. Garrison Excelsior CNY. First troop coming up Sat - Aug 20 MiLB Syracuse SkyChiefs Star Wars Night. First time builder, Anovos OT TK kit. Taking new photos on Fri - Aug 19 for EIB submission. I think I may be able to get to Centurion level with my build, but EIB was the goal from the start. If Only You Knew: - If I only knew how hot being in this TK was going to be, I may have changed my mind - but I am glad I did not. - If I only knew how much everything was going to cost to get this done, I would have taken out a loan ;-) - Some of the things I learned during the build: 1) Don't try to rush the build if you are a first timer. You will make mistakes. 2) Always use E6000 even though you have to wait 24 hours each gluing session. 3) Measure 3x then cut once. Always easier to take more ABS off than to put it back on. Oops!: - One of the big things I did wrong was I cut my shins cover strips too short. I was supposed to go to the top and I stopped just below the ridge lines.The Left shin hid this problem with the Sniper plate, but I had to work some magic to get the Right shin cover strip rebuilt to proper length. It came out great and is only noticable if you stick your face at the bottom of my Right Shin A funny thing happened on my way to the Death Star: - Did not really have any funny stories along the way, just alot of blood, sweat, tears, and curse words. Tony, will this prevent me from EIB? The 3 exposed snaps, 2 on the butt plate and the non-functional AB plate snap all have "Tandy" on the exposed side. The ABS upper corner snap is covered by the Chest plate and the butt plate is not seen, but I don't want my EIB/Centurion shots to be blown over 3 snaps.<br><br> If I have to replace, what should I use? Links to item?

EIB? Bring it! I am ready to be approved for EIB~ Centurion, not so sure about that. I should be all set, except one thing I do not have is the latex hand plates. I submitted my app on the 501st website to notify my GML that pics will be forth coming. The only issue is I cannot take pictures until Friday or Saturday. I am heading up an Office 365 migration at work so i am pretty busy with that. Should I have waited on the application? I got so excited, I could not wait

I can now officially say that my build is completed~! Whoo Hooo. Now to polish up the armor for official submission pics in a couple days. Then onto my first troop Aug 20 - Star Wars night at Syracuse SkyChiefs MiLB game.

Going back to 1 USB Power Stick for 2 fans to lighten the weight in the back of the helmet. That way, when I bend my head forward to look down, the helmet will follow me like it should.

K, you are EIB, is there much for you to do to become Centurion? Are you even considering Centurion? Just curious.

Yep, small and unnoticed on mine before I looked specifically for it. Not bad at all, but I know its there. Will try to let the OCD go over this one

One other note., I did notice some issues with torso snap plate gluing with E6000. While it did not warp or disfigure my armor, it seemed like there is a very slight bulge on the opposite side of the snap plates. You have to be very very close to see it but it's there. So if you are gonna glue metal to ABS, put down some painters tape between the metal and ABS. Just to be safe. I only noticed this on my butt plate

I added some cable holders. Still not really happy with fan system though. Will be making a change. The 2 USB power packs in the back of the helmet, prevent me from looking down, the helmet stays up. I have to hold the helmet if I want to look down. So I will most likely change that setup to 1 USB charger to two fans to lighten the load. If I have to, I will use 1 rechargable 9v battery for two 5v fans, that will make it really light weight

Last of the last, torso bracket screw painting, rivet painting, last snap plates installed. Only thing left is to E6000 those bracket screws to keep them in place, and mount the iCOMM and Aker amp. I got my ext cable to eliminate feedback. Should be submitting pics by week's end!

Yeah, it was a pain for me because I did not have the proper padding to start with, and I tried my hardest to make it work. Regular 1" foam did the trick

I finally got the bucket to fit me correctly, won't make any changes until I troop a few times to see. But thx for the tip!
