Hey everyone!
I'm Brady, 22, and a recent graduate. So now I might be able to build up enough cash for an armor kit!
I'm fairly new to armor building (Started with a Mandalorian) and I decided quite a while ago I want to join the 501st with a Sandtrooper, but quickly switched to a Shadow Trooper.
However, I've been getting a little discouraged. I'm a bigger guy, 6'0, 215lbs, large frame. By no means fat, just a little chub here and there (which I want to get rid of soon.) AM no longer makes black kits, I don't believe ATA will fit me, and my last (And favorite) option is Walt's Trooper Factory.
Even after doing all of the research, I'm a little scared that I'll look ridiculous in any trooper armor I get. I've seen people around the forums that are larger than me that fit well in armor, but I guess I need some encouragement before I pull the trigger on a kit. Can anyone point me to some photos or builds that were done by guys of a similar height/weight? Especially for Shadow Kits. I haven't found many build threads for guys my size for Shadow kits, even on the Spec Ops forums.
Any help would be greatly, greatly appreciated!

Hello all!
I'm about to get started on my TD build, and I'm planning on getting an AM2.0 kit since I'm a larger guy and need the extra space. I already have an ATA bucket, and I was wondering if the plastic color would match (and be 501st approvable) even if I heavily weather it.
Any help would be greatly appreciated!

Hey all! So, I won't be able to purchase the armor until next year, but I was able to get a bucket kit and get started! I've recently finished a TIE helmet for a build that's nearly done, and that was an absolute nightmare (An unfortunately soft pull and ABS that was far too thick. It was a Tambo Fett kit, who usually does fantastic work.) So I hope this is a little easier as I've at least hand painted a TK bucket before.
I have a huge library of screen references and guides, so I think I'm ready!
Wish me luck!
