I also just finished my mitcheg v2 helmet. For me painting was the hardest. Lots of dremeling and I had a tough time installing the lenses. I also installed a hard hat support system, which was hard to level. In the end I'm very happy with it. It may not be the shiniest but I love it. Next will be armor.

What I was saying, is I saw them, but am no expert in Gasket Quality. They are a rubbery material. For me I am waiting for the cloth gaskets

That's great. I have working on the shine to my helmet for what seems like forever. Good job!

I have a v2 and am slowly finishing it. I am painting slowly but the helmet is very smooth. I am hoping to have mine done this weekend. *maybe*

Thank you for your response. [Edited] How does the neck seal from stormtrooperundersuit match the Jim cloth gaskets? I am on the wait list for the cloth gaskets from imperialgaskets, but considered just going with Jim's. Did you feel that the plasti dip is a required step to finishing the inside?

Hi, I heard there are a few builds of the Jims armor. Are there any that focus on what needs to be done to connect them to the gaskets or any straps to add etc.

I am new to all of this and am super excited to see so many people from Florida building these kits.

I lightly sprayed mine black and saved the signature. It and the kill strips are white.
