  1. Thank you! Looks like you just saved me a lot of money. I'm definitely not going to buy from this guy, but I am curious: The original stormtrooper costume from my link (above) is handmade from Andrew Ainsworth himself, who was the creator of the actual stormtrooper costumes used on film in Ep. IV, at least this is the claim in the "About Us" section. If he now uses the same molds that he used nearly 40 years ago to create the original ANH costumes, which the 501st uses to standardize their specs, why is it that Ainsworth's costume (as expensive as it is) wouldn't be accepted in the 501st "without a lot of work"? It seems like everything checks out here (except for the lack of boots): http://databank.501st.com/databank/Costuming:TK_anh_stunt Again, thanks for the direction to cheaper yet still authentic alternatives.
  2. I'd like to eventually join the 501st as a stormtrooper from ANH. Except for boots, is this ANH stormtrooper costume legitimate with the 501st? The link is here: http://www.originalstormtrooper.com/original-stormtrooper-ultimate-combo-deal-217-p.asp Thanks!
