Could someone confirm that this asymmetry is correct? When I line up the rectangular middle areas of the kidney and posterior plates, the right side of the posterior plate lines up with the inside of the kidney plate cutout (as expected), but the left side of the posterior plate extends past the kidney cutout and lines up with the outside edge of the kidney plate. I tried to find screenshots of this area, but it's always covered by the holster.

4 years later... I've finally started making progress! I think the arms are done. I've taken them apart several times to adjust the fit (E6000 is great!). They still seem pretty big, but I feel like I've already removed a lot of plastic. Return edge has been removed from the wrists. No hooks on the biceps yet. Pauldrons: Elastic scavenged from Anovos strapping, per ukswrath's build thread, with size 10 snaps. Hands: Latex Trooperbay handguards, superglued to stock Anovos gloves. I orginally tried using E6000, but it didn't stick. I'm having some problems with the latex tearing near the thumbs, but it sounds like that is normal. Thermal Detonator is complete. Tube was painted with Testor's 1923 Gunship Gray. The screws are #4 Pan Head Slotted, painted semi gloss black. The brackets are stock Anovos, for now. I have also started on the shins. I think I have them correctly matched. Sniper knee is above the one that I think is the left shin. The back of the shins will be challenging.

Hi guys! This is my first time building stormtrooper armor, so I figured I should start a build thread where I can post questions and get feedback. I received my BBB a little over a year ago, and a few days later I had all the rough trimming done...and I haven't touched it since. I've been too afraid to cut anything to size or modify return edges. This is basically the current status of my suit (I did remove the return edges from the wrists): A lot of people recommend starting with the arms, so I'll do the same. Regarding the return edges, I know I'm supposed to remove them from the wrist area of the forearm, but i haven't seem much info regarding the other return edges. I haven't seen any mention of removing them, but it doesn't look like the screen used suits had them. Some reference- No return edge on either end of this forearm and bicep (RS Props suit): Very little return edge on pauldron (RS Props suit): No return edge on the back of this troopers forearms, or bottom edge of left pauldron. Biceps look very snug, so probably not much return edge there either. A little bit more return edge on pauldron, still nothing on forearms: Very little return edge on Luke's arms: Not much on Han's either:
