    Look on the main 501st forums. You might just search Facebook as well for dl-19 a few only advertise there. But first, does israel have any shipping blocks on German ww2 replica weapons? You might check that first. Or have a friend obtain one then ship to you if a vendor won't.

    hi, 

    i was looking around to find a kit for my stormtropper, for the dlt-19

    and everywhere i look it's either 200+ euro's or it's not shipping to Israel, 

     

    i was reading the best bet i can do is to get the doopy's doo version, 

    but that one don't ship to israel, and isn't available for .. well for sevral months now

     

    i was reading some posts here that show some guys buying it from members, 

    do you know a member that would sell and ship a kit to israel ?

     

    i'm sorry if i post it not in the correct group it's just the only forum i could think about.

    now how on earth are we going to get a good suite, gloves, under suite, holster, 
    and all that came with that kit for 650 $... ?? 



    i was soo excited about coming to london in mid august :( 

    because  anovus don't sell to my country i was going to buy and bring it back with me :(

    now they are sold out...

    how am i going to get a normal kit with all the gloves, undersuites, holsters.. etc.. for 650$....

    Out of curiosity, are you sure you ordered the complete kit and not the detail kit where you supply your own pipe? I have been watching the site and also have the email notification and haven't heard or seen any show back up. If so, wow, they really do sell out fast. I can't really judge the full kit because I have never had one however the base detail kit is pretty nice and so far, I have had no issues with it.

    At the very top of this page look for the blaster reference and you will see everything you just asked about. Warning, very addictive reading lol. As far as turn around time from, doopy, it can take a couple of weeks. And yes, they are terrible at responding so don't hold your breath. You will most likely never hear from them. Keep us posted with a builders log so we can see your progress.

    hi,

    so i managed (finally) a week ago to order from doopys site the e11 blaster kit...

    but since then i havn't herd from them , not an email nothing on the order..

    tried to email them a bunch of times but still they didn't answer..

    someone knows what's the turn around time , i mean when do they actually order ? for you guys.. or did you get an email or something ?

     

    second question is, i see in allot of the builds people adds that number unite ? that part in the back next to the scope where it has their garrison number or another uniqu number.

    is there a tutorial on how to do this ? i looked for hours on a counter on ebay, couldn't find one that i can imagine would fit in a clip...

     

    and last question, 

    is there a thread, or a place to list that holds all the differences between doopys gun and the set gun ? 

    (like steel inner barrel, wires , counter, steel spring.. )

    This is not "Trooper helping Troopers".

     

    And he is a member of the 501st?

    Someone should look into this ...

     

     

    By the way, I am the same height and weight, 47 years old and proudly wear my TM for trooping.

    I think I look splendid in my armor and you will, too! (in your armor, of course, not mine ...)

    well.. you know, i think most people just kinda look for their own in this world... the trooper helping trooper, allthough i'm a strong believer in that, 

    in reality most younger people (25 down...) don't really do that any more nowdays...

    so as i said here before, 

    ever since i saw the movies 25 years ago ive been 12 then.

    ive been a huge star wars fan ! so much wanting to get the armour and be like the stormtroppers in the movies !

    every Halloween ive dressed as one of the charterers...

    and now days when i'm old and much more stupid, and with all that star wars hype going on , ive been setting on the road of acquiring a storm tropper armour. 

     

    now the problem.

    i'm 200pounds (94kg), 5.8f (178 cm)

    so not fat !!! but a bit chubby...

     

    still that never stopped me from being a fan

    so i contacted the 501st, and set a date with their commander in thailand on my visit there for acquiring one.

    one look at me and he said, i'm too fat, and too big, and far to old to own a stormtropper armour. that he won't sell me one and that's that.

     

    needless to say ive been really sad about it and hurt.. you know, my dream for all this years led me to him and boom... reality strikes in.

     

     

    in the past ive been directed to this sellers from this forum as well >

     

    Rob McFadyen, Trooper Gear, Mark Harrison, ATAworks 

     

    and they all sell their kits at around 750usd. which is well deserve ! but a bit high for my budget, and i guess the kits are a bit small for my size. 

     

     

     

    so guys, can someone help me as to really am i too big to wear a stormtropper armor ? or frack it and go with it you know, make my dream and all ?

     

    and can you suggest a seller or a place to buy the kits at the 500USD price range for the untrimed, kits + helmet kits. ?

    (preferably a bigger kit that will suit me ?)

    or this prices no longer exist today with all the hype going on ?

    well after, researching and researching and really wanting to get the stormtropper armour from everywhere..

    i mean , best option would be anovos but,  they don't ship to israel...

    and buying their armour through an external shipping company would add up 300 usd.. add taxes to that and the original shipping and you come up to 1300 usd for the armour... 

     

    i guess they won't do the 350 usd armour again...:0-( :-( :-(

     

    buying throw the vetted sellers page, didn't work out either, the chipest one their asked for 850 usd for the kit...and you need to add 200 usd for shipping on top of that.. 

     

    so i'm letf with one option

    make the molds myself.. otherwise i'll never be able to get myself an armour...

     

    i know it's a complicated and really long process, and usually takes allot of time and much better to buy the kit, 

    but with the lack of other options you know.. what can i do..

     

    is there like some reference files i can pring on A3 paper ? or something like that that will help me with the molds ?

     

    maybe even larger files with the big molds ? that i can print on larger papers ?

     

    (really prefer to buy a completed kit though...)

     

    can you help me guys with some of the patterns ? do you have a design of them ?

    It would help to know what country you are in. Perhaps there are local sellers

    i'm from israel... lol there are no sellers here i can promise that... 

     

    it's my dream researching this for the past couple of years and i didn't came across another israeli who even would be willing to pay hundreds of dollars for this... 

    they all think i'm crazy to be willing to pay 500+ usd for what they call just some pieces of plastic... i still didn't came across one israeli who thought i'm not crazy... (did i mentioned i don't like the people here ?)

    our comicon event... is just like 100 guys at any given event , maybe 10 of them in home made cosplay running around... it's really not that special...

    and in the 501 the 2 members from Israel, well one of them is not a member any more and doesn't really answer..and i reacon by the name he lives in the state.. and

    one of them is from the states did answer, and have a 850USD without shipping kit to sell..

    hi,

    so i contacted all the sellers from the suggested sellers list,

    their lowest price starts at 850 USD, inc Shipping to my country..

    really will Anovus will ever do the 350 $ sale again for the storm trooper armor ? 

    and if not the 350 ad least a sale for lower then 650 usd ? 

    650 usd is a pretty good price as itself but you think it will go down maybe now with the premiere coming up ?

     

    do you think now more stores will start selling the plastic armour kit for less and less online ? and then we will be able to get it more cheaply ?

     

    so far the 650 from anovus and if you live in the usa so shipping will be below 100USD and no taxes for you.. is the best option .. 

     

    or if you find a private seller that did re casts of the anovus suit he might sell you one for around 500 usd... (i personally don't like the idea of recasts) 

     

    unfortunately i don't live in the us.. (although i'd give anything to live there instead of my country)

     

    so really for overseas it's only 1000 USD + for the whole thing.. even with the sale..

    as for the armor, sylverbard, i'm more then willing to pay 350 for the armor plus 150 for accesories, plus 50-100 shipping.. that's fine

    i'm not willing to pay 650 for armor parts, + 250 shipping + 200 tax + 150 accessories.. thats nearly 1300USD ...

    it's not that i don't want to it's just i don't have that much money...

     

    well i guess i'll just have to wait :( 

     

    but pls guys if someone here is having a voucher or selling a kit pls contact me ...

    Hey there Shay,

     

    The short answer is armor does not come cheap. From my very limited experience you won't find anything worthwhile under 1000$ (approx.). I can assume that pretty much everyone on here will tell you to avoid the ebay stuff at all cost. How is your ability to read English? There is a lot of information on this site for the various types of armor out there. 

     

     

    I would check the Anovos website again. The 1600$ USD amount is for the "complete ensemble" which means it's fully put together. If you select, "Kit with completed helmet" It should drop the price down to 650$ USD, but that doesn't seem to be much help as you can't get it shipped there. It looks like they may update where they will ship in the future, so it may be a wait and see.

     

    yea and they had the kit for 350 only.. god i missed that, they don't ship here though :( even contacted them directly they still won't send it here...

     

     

    Here's the go-to page. Hopefully you can get a kit sent there by somebody on the list. Best of luck!<br>

    ok so hi everyone, i'm shay from the far away (and pretty depressing) land of Israel, amazing how the internet brings us all together !

    ok so i'll make it short, 

    it's been my life long dream to have a stormtropper armour, really since i watched the movie at age 8 every birthday since ive been asking to get one,

    well reality knocked on my window with anovos armour is selling at 1600 without shipping, and they don't even ship to israel, so even if i could (and i can't) afford one  of their armours, i couldn't bring it here, plus the tax would kill me.

     

    ive read they had that 350 $ sale a while ago but i missed it, and plus they don't ship here so it doesn't matter

     

    but you know.. dreams don't die easyly .. so there i am standing before you with one wish, or question see it how you may, 

    where does a block like me who for the past 30 birthdays wished for the same thing, can get a stormtropper armour at a reasonably price ?

     

    ive read allot of people sell them on ebay but i looked and the lowest there is also like 900+ usd exclude shipping and taxes ... 

     

    the really really big dream in the end would be to own a black stormtropper suite from the new films and a classic white suite from the classics.. 

    but you know.. one seems as impossible dream ATM so .. two..

    amm.. i guess i'll get responses like, if you don't have the bucks don't dream the dream, or stuff like that, but ive seen this is a great community and really hope for the best here ..
